Manager – SAS Programming & Biostatistics

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead a team of SAS programmers & OC programmers and set priorities and timelines for programming deliverables based on project requirements
As a team leader, provide direction to other programmers in achieving results
Provide input into forecasting and allocation of resources within and across projects
Ensure compliance with company and client’s SOPs
Contribute to the standardization and improvement of processes, procedures and systems
Set objectives and manage performance of direct reports through ongoing feedback, identification of development areas and appraisals
Participate in technical conferences and internal knowledge sharing sessions
Requirements
Graduate in B.Sc (Maths, Statistics), B.Tech / B.E. and  Post Graduate in M.Sc (Maths, Statistics), PhD, M.Tech (Any Specialization)
At least 6 years experience in SAS programming in the pharmaceutical industry with some experience managing technical staff
Ability to lead and contribute to cross-functional teams
Ability to recruit, train and mentor other programmers
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external business partners
Experience in implementing strategies for effective delivery of SAS programming services to business partners and clients
